Nicola Ciarelli, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Hello, my name is Nicola Ciarelli. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner, and co-owner of 180 Mental Health and Wellness. It has been my dream to create a safe place where the patient feels listened to and leaves knowing they are cared for. We provide general psychiatry that includes but is not limited to depression, general anxiety disorder, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, including addiction.
We believe in treating the whole person and will explore alternative treatments including integrative and functional psychiatry. The goal at 180 is to provide therapy services that patients feel comfortable to engage in to help create change and healing. We also believe in exploring lifestyle changes, including diet and physical activities, that help create the best version of you. 180 Mental Health and Wellness provides both telehealth and in person visits out of our Phoenix location. We will be opening an office in the East Valley in 2024.
A little bit about me; I was raised in Pennsylvania, in a small town, called Milford. I moved to Arizona in 2004 and became a nurse in 2009, primarily working in the emergency department, including Banner Desert. I went on to receive my Bachelor's at Grand Canyon University and then, shortly after, my Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Soon thereafter I went to Maryville University to receive my certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Psychiatry has always been a passion, and I always knew the end goal was to become a psychiatric provider. Some of my hobbies include hiking, playing the piano, rock climbing, snowboarding , and working in my garden.
