Nicola Ciarelli, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Hello, my name is Nicola Ciarelli. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, and I co-own 180 Mental Health and Wellness. It has always been my aspiration to create a space where patients feel truly heard and leave knowing they are genuinely cared for. At 180 Mental Health, we offer a wide range of general psychiatric services, addressing conditions such as depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and addiction, among others.
Our approach is holistic, focusing on the whole person. We explore various treatment options, including integrative and functional psychiatry. At 180, our mission is to provide therapeutic services that patients feel comfortable engaging with, fostering meaningful change and healing. We also encourage lifestyle modifications, such as improvements in diet and physical activity, to help you become the best version of yourself. Our services are available both through telehealth and in-person at our Phoenix office, with plans to expand to the East Valley in 2024.
A bit about my background: I grew up in a small town called Milford in Pennsylvania and relocated to Arizona in 2004. I began my nursing career in 2009, primarily in emergency care, including work at Banner Desert. After earning my Bachelor's from Grand Canyon University, I completed my Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Later, I obtained my certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University.
Psychiatry has always been my passion, and I knew my ultimate goal was to become a psychiatric provider. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, playing the piano, rock climbing, snowboarding, and gardening.
